We are truly grateful to the Artists, Sponsors, Donors, Attendees, Volunteers and Vendors that make this event possible. This event and the support of Day by Day homeless shelter only happens through collaboration and community support from kind, caring, awesome & engaged people like you.

Streets of Hope is a fundraiser for Day by Day with concept and coordination by Hype Creative, LLC, together referred to as the Streets of Hope team. All proceeds from the event directly support Day by Day’s mission and operating costs of their new location. By working with Streets of Hope, all Artists, Sponsors, Donors, Attendees, Volunteers and Vendors agree to the terms and conditions set here and agree to work toward the mission of Day by Day and the mission of Streets of Hope, and all parties agree to hold each other harmless from any losses, liabilities or damages related to this event. All artists, donors and sponsors provide permission for Day by Day and the Streets of Hope team to promote them on digital marketing.

By submitting a Call for Artists, all Artists, Performers, Musicians, Makers and Creators (Artists) confirm that they hold full copyright ownership over the work they are donating or performing. All donated work (art, product or service) must be original in concept and creation or under full ownership of the person making the donation. All donated work will be owned by Day by Day so that the Streets of Hope team may sell, raffle, auction, trade, distribute or barter in support of the Streets of Hope mission. Day by Day reserves the right to deny any work of art for any reason. Any unsold or unused work may be returned to the artists at the sole discretion of the Streets of Hope team. Artists retain all rights to the original concept, creative process, creative variations, reproductions, marketing photos and future versions of the work. By request and after the event, Streets of Hope may connect artists with new owners of their work.

All artist donations are made for the benefit of Day by Day. Artists may request to receive a 20% stipend of the sale of their finished work for all works generating at least $100 in donor sales. Artist stipends are based on the lower of the artist value or the actual sale price, to maximize the benefit for Day by Day. 

Live artists are part of the immersive art performance at Streets of Hope. Live artists must collaborate with the Streets of Hope team and follow all event rules. All live art created at the event will be owned by Day by Day, so that the Streets of Hope team may sell, raffle, auction, trade, distribute or barter in support of the Streets of Hope mission. Live artists honorariums will be paid at the completion of the Streets of Hope event. At the request of the artist, honorariums and stipends may be waived so that all money raised can be donated to Day by Day at any time.

Artist stipend(s) for donated works will be distributed to artists within 30 days after the event. Artists must provide payment information in follow up communications with the Streets of Hope team. Failure to provide payment information may waive artists ability to distribute payments. Artists must follow all event rules to be eligible for payment.

EVENT RULES + EXPECTATIONS

Have fun, be creative and be collaborative!

Put the needs of Day by Day and this mission at the forefront of your work.

Encourage and engage attendees to give and support the mission of the event.

Be respectful and responsible to attendees, with the mission of this event in mind.

Communicate in a timely manner with the Streets of Hope team.

Carry in, carry out and help clean up after yourself. Ask if you need help.

Artists are responsible for providing their own materials. Ask if you need help.

Do your best to prevent paint or other art materials from damaging the building surfaces.

Artists will need to be timely, set up and ready to perform prior to the start of the event.

Live artists must perform their creative roles for the their allotted time slot.

Live artists will have access to the art lounge for snacks and refreshments. Please limit breaks to maximize your creative role.

We encourage artists to help support the Streets of Hope mission by promoting their involvement in this event.
